Meet Head Coach Pete Laforest

As a native of Montreal, Pete attended a boarding school in his formative years and it changed his life. With the support of his coaches, talent and grit, Pete reached levels most athletes can only aspire to reach. In 2003, Laforest made his MLB debut with the Tampa Bay Rays and went on to a career with the Expos, Padres and Phillies. He also represented team Canada in the Olympics and World Baseball Classic.

Following his 16-year professional career, Pete went on to manage professionally where he led his team to the CanAM league championship. Since his professional career, Coach Laforest has dedicated his life to helping student-athletes reach their potential.

Trosky Academy Katy, TX provides elite teachers and coaches to guide the development path. Chris Brice, State of Texas certified teacher and 20-year veteran, is our onsite teacher.
